AHHHHH BLUEBALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not quite meatballs, not quite meatloaf, these are the kind of blueballs you will want again and again!

All measurements are variable; you have to try hard to mess this one up!

preheat oven to 425 degrees

2 1/2 pounds of chopmeat

1 medium chopped onion

2 slices of wet bread (see explination below)

2 eggs

1 – 2 teaspoons hot sause (I like Rooster Sause)

1/2 teaspoon dryed basil (although, fresh is always better :))

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 heaping teaspoon chopped garlic (or more)

aprox. 6 ounces blue cheese

I like to have my meat at room temp. before working with it.  In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except the blue cheese.  Run the bread under water, until it’s as wet as possible without falling apart:

 then squeeze

Squeeze out as much water as possible, then crumble into the meat mixture.

You have to get your hands into the meat to get it to all mix well; so don’t be shy.

Form into 6 balls, aprox. the same size.  Make wells in the center of each ball with your thumbs:

And shove about an ounce of blue cheese into each of those babies!

Bake at 425 for 20 (rare) to 30 (well done) minutes.

p.s.  they’re awesome with mashed potatoes and a little hot sause on the side
