Reiki I ~ Tai Chi

Tai Chi supports and enhances Reiki.  Reiki supports and enhances Tai Chi.  A quick and easy way to feel Reiki is to practice Tai Chi.  As little as 10 minutes of Tai Chi will allow you to feel Reiki flowing.  Simply hold your hands out, in front of yourself, with your elbows at your waist and your palms facing, about a foot apart.  You should feel a faint hum; as energy flows between your hands.  Move them slowly closer and further apart and you will notice a differing frequency.  That’s Tai Chi.  That’s Reiki.  The more you practice, both, the more you feel, both!

Youtube has loads of Tai Chi videos.  Just watching them is energizing.  I love M Thomas’ Tai Chi Chuan 24 Steps Beginners series; for several reason.  Each step is carefully and slowly explained and demonstrated; and (GENIUS) filmed in front of a mirror.  You watch front and back at the same time!  I love it! 

HOMEWORK: Practice Tai Chi for 20 minutes; at least every other day.

  • The Tai Chi DVD contains all 11 parts shown on YouTube with DVD quality (Introduction, Warm-up, 7 day lesson plan, 1 walk through and 1 section showing the exercise with music, repeated once). The difficulty is within the concentration of the movements. Everyone is different when it comes too concentrating. Eventually you will work it out and flow through the exercise.
